Time for a weekend

Sometimes I think I sound like Ronnie Barker during the closing scenes of Open All Hours. It’s been a funny sort of week! And this one has been.

As you will be aware I had a yarn shortage. It should have been resolved today. However the shop does not appear to be answering the phone, emails or Facebook messages. I decided not to drive there encase it hasn’t arrived. I will try again tomorrow. In the meantime I have managed to create a new scarf. I’m quite pleased with it. It will be a pocket scarf with tassels. I hope to finish those elements this evening.

I am a little frustrated because I have clients booking in to the gite this evening however they have suddenly messaged and said that they will be nearly two hours late. We had already lit the fire and were waiting outside when I received the message. I am trying to give them the benefit of the doubt!
