All in a spin

Well so much for a relaxing weekend. On Friday afternoon I suddenly took five bookings for over the next two weeks. Now don’t get me wrong I am fully in favour of numerous bookings. I would, if possible, like more notice and more ability to plan, however that is the nature of the beast.

I spent much of today organising washing. I think I did four loads, there’s still more to do. One load alone was twenty towels. There were more towels in at least one other load! So what you might gather is that there is little time for creativity. And writing endlessly about how many loads of washing I have achieved isn’t very interesting either.

I looked back at last summer and I noticed that I closed the blog for a few weeks at the peak of the season. I have decided to do the same thing this year. I am hoping that I might be able to make some things and I’m visiting a yarn festival in a couple of weeks time, so hopefully I’ll have some interesting things to report back on. In the meantime I am going to concentrate on the gîte d’étape. I will back towards the end of the month. I am sure that you will all understand why I cannot keep going at the moment.
