I was absolutely determined to finish the jumper. I was thinking that I had been working on it for months. However given that I picked up the yarn whilst I was in the UK, it really hasn’t been that long. And whilst I have been doing it I crocheted a cardigan for myself. So in reality I haven’t been doing it for that long.
This morning I finished sewing it together. Sometimes the finishing can take a great deal of time. It’s not just the knitting or the crochet but it’s the process of sewing it up and weaving in ends, all of which is part of the whole project.
Whilst I was sewing the sleeves I noticed that it was quite mindful. There were moments of Ma, when I could only focus on what I was doing when the whole of the rest of the world was shut out. I was however pleased when I’d finished and was able to press the garment. Apologies it doesn’t look very exciting however it is exactly what was ordered.

I spent a certain amount of time cleaning and reorganising our bedroom. I’d like to say I finished the project but unfortunately not. However I have made a good start and I will continue with it later in the week.
Finally I felt the need to do something that I could finish quickly, that would provide some personal satisfaction. I have been considering making beanies that I can sell in the gîte. So just before dinner I made a 1 hour beanie. And yes probably done in about an hour.

Until tomorrow…
The jumper is finished with a sense of satisfaction I hope. It looks like a great deal of work and well worth it.
You copied my hats ! Great idea for the gites, I’m sure they will sell easily. What walker doesn’t need a beanie ? Hahaha
Tidying is always a bigger job than initially thought. Once I start pulling out what is at the front I remember that it was infact a cleaver smoke screen for what I had hidden behind it !
I hope you have a cost evening and rest in your own breathing and sleep well. Wonderful that you noticed that moment of ma, you have come a long way. Xxx

Actually there was a certain satisfaction in finishing it. And yes I’m taking your idea! I’m on beanie number 3. So I think I’m doing quite well. I hope I got the moment of Ma right, I think I did 😀

Glad you were in the zone finishing the jumper. Well done it looks good!
My moments often arise unexpectedly doing things I perhaps didn’t want to do (like weeding) it’s a beautiful sunny day (cold) so I’m hoping to create rainbows as a reward for power-washing
LOVE the beanie
