I didn’t want to leave on Friday, not because I didn’t want to be home, because I certainly did. But because I didn’t want to leave my children. It was quite a wrench. Though I recognize that the elder has a busy life. He works full-time and has an active social life too, so even if we were there, we probably wouldn’t see him that often. The younger is in the final year of his degree so until he graduates it isn’t possible to know what he’ll do next.
Both Saturday and Sunday were glorious weather wise, sunshine and warmth. I forgot to get any photographic evidence, however I did spend part of both days sat outside. Soaking up vitamin D, it is so important for you and it really does make me feel better.
Archie is going for regular walks now. He has made such progress whilst I’ve been away. He has put some weight back on and is moving better all the time. Today we took him, and Nancy and Mabel, for a short walk in Huelgoat woods. He seemed to enjoy it.

As for my knitting and crochet, I really need to get a little organised. I seem to have more and more projects on the go. So I think a few lists and getting a plan of what needs doing next might be needed over the next few days. I need to finish the jumper for my client as a priority. Everything takes time!
Until tomorrow…
Aw. Home safely but it’s a wrench that separation! I remember when James went off travelling and I didn’t see him for really long periods. You are of course right too – they have busy lives and contact becomes tenuous sometimes. I’m sure they will take full opportunity to visit you in France!
Lovely to see Archie up and about. It’s such a worry when they are so poorly – and so dependent. It really is like having a poorly baby who can’t communicate anything but their pain – so great progress!
I know you’re a workaholic- you don’t need lists – you need to do less!!!! The lets will soon be pouring in now Covid is becoming normalised so you need to prepare for that (lecture over! right past your ears and over your head on past experience 😂).
Take good care of yourself and each other – it was so lovely to see you last week – and looking so good! 🤗🤗🤗

Thank you. It was great to see you too. You started looking well once you retired, so you’ve been ahead of me on that one!🤣 The lists are to help with focus, otherwise I start everything and finish nothing!
