Oh no!

As many of you will know I practically live in my poncho. I wear it much of the time. I also use it as an advert for what I do. Yesterday evening my younger son sent me a message.

Remus likes a poncho!

Clearly I had forgotten the poncho. It seems that Remus had found it and decided that it is very comfortable. My son has offered to post it however I hear so many horror stories of parcels arriving but recipients being charged huge sums in import taxes. I asked him to keep it safe until someone next crosses the channel. That way hopefully it will return safely to me

I had intended to do quite a bit of knitting today. So this morning I did just that. I have now managed to complete the front and the back of the jumper. So I am now ready to cast on the sleeves.

In the meantime I want something to wear whilst I am without my poncho. I have seen a waterfall crochet cardigan. I had purchased some yarn for something else however I have decided to use it. This afternoon I chained up the start of it. There’s not a lot to see at the moment but I can see how it will work.

Tomorrow I will be on the ferry home. It will seem very strange. I am looking forward to being in my own bed, and seeing my animals and my husband

Until tomorrow…

  1. I hope you have a safe journey back and not to bumpy. I won’t recognise you without your poncho. You need to add it to your project list. Xx

  2. Now that’s criminal – such a beautiful poncho inhabited by a cat! Love the wool for your waterfall project!
Hope the journey home isn’t too lumpy!
