Today has been very much about catching up and relaxing. Whilst I don’t regret moving to Brittany there are people who I really miss. Obviously that includes my children and also some of my friends. So having the opportunity to catch up is wonderful.
I have had lots of opportunities to work on the jumper that has been ordered. The sweater is being knitted on relatively small needles. This means that it will be fairly slow progress. I had hoped that it might be finished before I return. Unfortunately I don’t think it will be.

We had a lovely walk around Montgomery castle. There are incredible views from it. I assume that it was really important during some of the wars and skirmishes of the Welsh Marches. The remains of it demonstrate that the castle was hugely reinforced.

I have finally been able to get a copy of the image of Archie’s x-ray. If you look carefully at it, you will see that there is a break right through his vertebrae. Seeing the image demonstrates how incredible it is that he is recovering. It remains slow progress but just amazing.

Until tomorrow…
The photos are wonderful and I’m so pleased that you are having such a restorative time. Life is certainly easier where there is a common language. It’s testimony to Archie’s recovery when I looked at his x ray ! He is a strong dog and fortunately young.
I hope you thoroughly enjoy the rest of your time in the uk. Xxx
