I had to spend some time last night waiting to board the ferry. I had planned to knit however it’s quite difficult to do so in a car. So my plan changed. At the weekend I realised that I need some new throws for the gîte. As I previously said I have recently come in to some yarn. I’m sure you can see a plan coming together! At one point I used my headtorch in order to see what I was doing. I made reasonable progress.
Remus was incredibly well behaved yesterday but I think by this morning the novelty had well and truly worn off. He was not happy on the last look leg of the journey. He has however moved in and is now making himself at home! Romulus on the other hand is in hiding under the bath but I’m sure he will appear soon.
This afternoon I met a friend and had a catch up which was great. Apparently I look much more relaxed than I used to. So I must be doing something right.
I am off to knit now, so until tomorrow…

I’m really pleased you arrived safely with your little bundles. I’m sure they will settle in well in no time. It’s been a long trip for them. All smells are different and nothing is familiar right now.
Lovely that you managed to catch up with a friend on your first day of arrival. There is always so much to do on a visit back and time disappears quickly. Enjoy it all, every moment. I bet you will sleep soundly tonight ! Xxx
