Updates and new possibilities

This morning Archie was back to the vet. The vet is amazed by his progress. He has control over both his bladder and bowels and today he has started to lift his leg again which is really quite incredible. When I can I will down load his x-ray. It doesn’t seem possible after where he started. Today he was given another anti-inflammatory injection and prescribed more tablets. He will be returning in a month’s time and then he will need a further x-ray. Our poor bank account!

This afternoon I took a trip to Les Puces. The charity is moving into new premises. Work appears to be moving at a pace. The shop is beginning to look like a brocante rather than a simple charity shop. In one of the rooms there will be a salon de thé , and the boutique de les créatures will also in this space.

I have set up my space. I haven’t put much out. I have focused on making it clear that I take commissions.

The person in charge of the charity lives only a few doors away and it seems that one of her cat’s likes coming to the shop. Penguin appears to appreciate my cat bed!

It has been suggested that I make some animals to sell. So this afternoon I thought I’d trial a pattern. I haven’t got as far as I would have liked. I don’t think you’ll guess what it is but as the saying goes, answers on a postcard!
