The patient appears to be doing well. He is excited about the prospect of food, each time that there is some on offer. He has been out a few times. Again he appears to enjoy going out but once he comes back inside he does go straight to bed.

I on the other hand am not feeling quite so well. I had a blood test this morning. This afternoon the surgery has frightened the living daylights out of me by ringing and saying that my thyroid levels are very low, that I need to be seen tomorrow and in the meantime if I feel really ill to call an ambulance! On the one hand it is reassuring that they follow up very quickly on the other the phone calls are a little blunt and frightening!
Last night a friend posted on Facebook that the moon looked amazing. We went outside and looked. At that point we could barely see it. Perhaps the globe is particularly curved here we are only a few kilometres away but it was appearing much lower to us. Later into the evening it appeared much more brightly.

I am very close to having finished my crochet dress. I will photograph it as soon as it’s done. I’m not sure why but progress has been very slow recently. Once I have finished it I will be ready for a very different challenge. This one has taken too long.
Until tomorrow…
Goodness Zenna, it can be so alarming to receive a phone call like those. I have had a few similar over my years here for the children, which panicked me too. I u derstand your level of concern and apprehension.
It’s really such good news about Archie and he seems to know what he needs to do in order to heal and repair his body. We can learn a great deal from observing animals and their natural instinc.
The moon was reall very beautiful last night and we all stood gazing toward it for a while. The light that it gives in the darkness of the countryside must have implications for our animal friends in the wild. It must be good hunting nights and I love to think of all the little creatures having feasts on the full moon as the catch is so much easier……perhaps. Of course it might be that the prey animals fear the fullest of moons and for them it is an indication to hide and eat little ? Who knows but I am sure that it is of significance to everything on our beautiful planet. Personally I find the moon alluring and mystical in many ways.
I hope you have a calm and restful evening and that you are seen promptly tomorrow and your mind put at ease after a consultation. Thinking of you and sending love. Xxxx

So glad Archie is doing well Zenna!
Hopefully your health issue will be sorted soon. I had a similar issue ( during menopause) but it was sorted quite quickly- hopefully yours will be too.
Beautiful photos Zenna – I understand it’s been a ‘special’ moon from FB comments.
Looking forward to seeing your fab dress 🤗
