I have decided to take a bit of a break. All my orders for Christmas have been completed and delivered. I have bookings in the gite so I am focusing on that a bit more now.
I had someone in the gite last night and I have a family in on Wednesday. Then I have a group in over the New Year. Yesterday we put a tree up and decorated it. With the fire lit it looks quite festive.

I am taking the opportunity to work on a tunic for me. I am knitting which I haven’t done for a while so a little strange. I am hoping to wear it on Christmas day! I will let you know if I manage it.

In the mean time I hope you have a good Christmas wherever and with whom ever you get to spend it. I will return in the New Year.
Hope you do manage to have a lovely , peaceful and restful Christmas xx

Ooh Zenna, I am excited to see your tunic when it is completed. What a lovely project.
Great news about the gite bookings and yes, it looks festive and cosy. A perfect getaway for your guests. The weather has turned quite cold but thankfully dry and for that I am grateful. I wish you and your beautiful family a very happy and joyous Christmas time. Even apart it is wonderful that we have ways of keeping in touch across the miles. I know it isn’t even remotely the same as being in physical proximity to loved ones, but it is better than nothing. Take time for yourself and have a wonderful Equinox tomorrow. The days of light are returning soon. Xxxx
