Yesterday the cats went out all day and didn’t come in until late. Interestingly Mabel was very unsettled. Eventually we let her go and look for them. Incredibly they appeared as soon as she started looking for them. Obviously they like her!
This morning was market in Huelgoat. From there I picked up my husband and we went for our third Covid 19 jabs. The first time I went to the centre in Morlaix it was well organised. Last time it was a little chaotic. Today it was unbelievably well organised. Straight in and straight through, new passe sanitaire issued. Just wonderful.
When I came back I was a little chilly so I decided to light the fire straight away. It is actually a wood burning cooker which has a top loading flap for the wood to go in. How I managed it I don’t know, however I managed to shut my thumb in it. As a result my crocheting has slowed this afternoon.
Having said that all the pieces for the 2nd slipper are now completed. This evening I shall get it finished and I will be able to start the 2nd pair. I started with a small pair and next I think I will do the largest pair.
