At last…

This morning I had a message to say that my yarn had arrived. I was beginning to to lose hope. I knew I wouldn’t be able to collect it today but at least it will be there tomorrow. I look forward to being able to finish the shawl.

This morning whilst I was walking the dogs it looked as though it was raining leaves. I have tried to capture them in a couple of photos however I don’t think it was very successful. I hope that you can imagine what I was seeing.

This afternoon was the first Crafter-noon. It was an opportunity to meet with other crafters and work on a project of your own. I took the cat sofa. At the moment I need some motivation to finish it, so taking it there was a good idea. Two hours later and I’m not sure you’d really notice the difference. However I have made progress and I think that whilst the end isn’t in sight, the beginning of the end might be. From there it was straight to Pilates. I am now tired but feel as though I have achieved some things.

On the way home the moon looked amazing. I thought about stopping to take a picture. Instead I decided to wait until I got home. Now if anyone can explain to me why I could see it for most of my journey home but can’t find it now, I’d be very grateful!

This weekend will be a busy one. I have two shawls to finish. I am going to collect my yarn and I’m going to a birthday lunch. All in all quite busy. I need to really prepare for the first market next Saturday.

Outside my front door. I must live in a fairy house!

Are you doing anything interesting this weekend? Until Monday I hope you have a good weekend..

  1. What a wonderful day you’ve had. I Amy sure that eventually your cat bed will be finished, especially if you have companionship while crafting.
I love the raining leaves too. I also really love the sound of leaves and how the landscape seems to have a different voice depending on the season. Everything feels sleepy now.
We saw the beautiful moon tonight and ran outside to gaze at it just before it dipped below the horizon and was lost from view. There is the longest partial lunar eclipse today but this morning at 8.30 when we might have been able to see it, it was cloudy. Now unfortunately it is the turn of somewhere else. If you look online you will be able to find a live stream of it happening tonight our time, but not visible to us here. Funny old things the sun and moon ! Hahaha
Have a wonderful, floaty evening. Xxx

  2. Sods Law (the moon disappearing) 😊
The photos are beautiful- I love leaf rain. It reminds me of my journey to Liskeard on Monday (Torpoint to Trerulefoot road). There was a gentle breeze, and that together with the cars going by, whips the leaves up 18-24 inches and the whole road does an autumn dance. The leaves were falling too, and the colours 😍😍
Not much doing here. Chillin this weekend in the greenhouse and garden (leaf picking and trimming back).
    Enjoy your weekend πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—
