Building the cat bed

I have recently made two ponchos and a gilet using the same type of yarn that I have used for the cat sofa. I wondered whilst making the sofa why I needed so much yarn particularly given how little was used for the items of clothing. I am now beginning to understand. I hadn’t appreciated how large the sofa was. Now that I have cut plywood and foam it is beginning to make sense.

I had to go out for supplies this afternoon. I had started putting the foam together and very quickly ran out of glue. Hence there are currently no photos of anything interesting! Tomorrow I feel sure. Though I don’t think it will be finished!

I gave myself a target yesterday to complete 10 crochet squares for the village Christmas tree. I achieved it. I will make some more over the next few days and weeks. I won’t be doing another 10 in one hit!

Whilst searching for glue I took the dogs to the garden. I think I mentioned the other day that Nancy is now 10.in all that time she has never shown any interest in digging. Today she went berserk. Of course I didn’t have my camera with me. By the time I had found it and gotten back she was showing no real interest other than in sitting beside her hole.

I hope to have something interesting to show tomorrow. Have you been doing anything interesting?

  1. Awwww, Maisie is so sweet. It makes me laugh that she decided to start digging ! She’s entered a new phase in her doggy life.
We’ll come to see the tree at Christmas. I bet it will look beautiful.
We walked around Dennec lake today and had a picnic for lunch. I am shattered tonight so relaxing and planning an early night.
    Have a lovely evening together.
    Xx
