Although there have already been some incredible storms, there are days in between that could be May or June. Two nights ago I thought we were about to lose the roof. Fortunately it is still there. Today is back to glorious sunshine so we took our visitors out to Concarneau.
Last night I finished the gilet. I was concerned about it but I am quite pleased with how it has turned out. My client has seen the photos and is pleased too. The hood seems overly large and if I do another I would be tempted to reduce the size but I think that it works and I’m pleased with the colours.
Concarneau is a walled city in the south of Finisterre. The ancient town was once a significant and strategic port. A much larger town has grown up around it. The city is undoubtedly a tourist attraction however there is plenty of history to be seen too and given its free to go in its a great place to wander around.
This evening we are off out to the creperie in La Feuillée. The building itself is amazing and the crepes are good too. I will try and remember to take some photos for next week’s blog.
So I hope you all have a good weekend. Until next week…

Love the gilet – and although the hood seems large, it’s also really stylish!
Have a lovely evening and a great weekend 🤗🤗🤗

The gilet looks brilliant and lovely colours.
Concarneau is lovely. We holidayed there three years in a row ! The walled town and amphitheater has concerts in the summer and they are free too. Really busy but a lovely atmosphere there.
Have a lovely meal tonight and plenty of cidre which will lead to a good nights sleep.
Have a joyous weekend. Xx
