Busy, busy!

Whilst little creative has been achieved, preparation for such activities have started. The day started with a dog walk with a friend and her dog. Unfortunately I forgot to take any photos.

Afterwards the three of us, me my husband and our elder son, went to Huelgoat market. I love buying fresh fruit and vegetables in market. It was also an opportunity to buy buttons for the poncho. I hope to get them sewn on this evening.

However we are off to a friend’s this evening for a drink and a buffet. It will be good to catch up with them, given the summer that we’ve had, we’ve hardly seen anyone. So some socialising is important.

This afternoon my son and I went to Morlaix. I wanted stuffing for a couple of projects. Given the stuffing is a yarn store it would be rude not to look! I bought a couple of balls for a project I’m planning. Otherwise it was stuffing, foam for one of the cat beds and pipe cleaners to form a cat’s tail. We went briefly to two other shops. In one I was purchasing some items for the dogs and cats when we spied a dog clipper. The decision was taken to buy one.

When we came home it was time to try them out. Nancy has been in need of a trim and a bath for months. It seems that they do work and they are significantly easier than cutting her with scissors which I have been doing for years. As a first attempt it wasn’t brilliant however considerably better than it was. So one way and another quite a bit achieved.

Until tomorrow…

  1. Seriously impressed! I can’t get any of our three to sit still once I switch the clippers on! They are all away and under the settee where I can’t reach them 🤣🤣🤣
Enjoy your time with Billy and your social (and don’t worry about being productive) 🤗
