Socken Stopp

I know a strange title. I will get to that shortly. I am still on go slow given that I am in a lot of pain. I have been led to believe that there will be deep bruising and that it will take some time to come out.

At the start of the weekend I had no bookings for the gite for the weekend. I was actually quite relieved. I didn’t really have the energy to do the necessary cleaning. 9.30pm on Saturday evening I had a text from Airbnb, congratulations….is booked in for tomorrow. I wasn’t pleased given that they are supposed to give me 24 hours notice. As it happened they had booked the only room that was made up, so actually not too much work. And she brought a lovely dog, Horace!

I have spent some time recently talking about ways to make my pantouffles non-slip. A friend suggested that I looked on line for anti-slip fabric paint. I duly had a look online. I then managed to find some, so I ordered a pack of 5 bright colours and a 2nd pack of a black and a white one. And yes it is really called Socken Stopp! So now I shall be adding anti-slip to my pantouffles. Watch this space for how they turn out.

It’s very strange, I find that where we walk seems to look different every time I walk there. I took a couple of photos this morning. The dogs enjoyed their walk. In the photos they cannot be clearly seen, they are in the distance!

I hope you had a good weekend. Until tomorrow.

  1. Keep on taking the tablets 🀞🏽🀞🏽🀞🏽

Love it when stuff does what it says on the bottle – fingers crossed it works 🀞🏽

Weather here thinks we are in April! Looks like it’s pretty soggy where you are too. Careful you don’t slip/twist while walking the dogs

Nothing much going on except incessant England flag waving, talk of footie – and if that’s not enough – in between people playing bat and ball are getting lots of attention! Can bear all the sport stuff if I can escape to the garden – but no πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ€―πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ
Indian summer coming up …… I really hope so πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—
