Today I recorded this week’s vlog video. As part of the video I was revisiting the blanket or throw that I am making. I was saying that I need to get back on it and complete it. So I thought I’d get back to it today.
This is where I started to realise that I have some lessons to learn. Initially I thought that all the squares that I had made so far were great. However on closer inspection it seems that I had left two different hooks of different sizes with the work. So I needed to unpick which size that I had used. I also found that the squares weren’t all the same size, even those that were the same type. Even worse one square had been started in one colour and finished in another.
Once I had worked out what was correct and what wasn’t I realised that what would help would be to write it down. So that’s what I did. I am now redoing some of the mistakes and moving on.
