Today we have been quite busy holidaying. We started the day by putting up the awning for the caravan. Our caravan is 42 years old and it’s awning is probably the same age. We don’t think it’s seen the light of day in 20 years. There are patches of mildew and one of the doors has rotted through in one place. We have got it up and it will prove useful in providing some shelter.
We packed in a hurry yesterday and managed to leave things behind however there were also things that we didn’t have. So next stop was Decathlon an outdoor activities shop. We bought a couple of tables and a ground sheet for the awning.
We had crêpes for lunch. There is a crêperie that we had forgotten about but suddenly remembered when looking for somewhere to eat. The food was delicious. Chris does think that they do the ultimate dessert crêpe, caramelised apple crumble crepe !
This afternoon we’ve swum in the sea and had a coffee in the port. All in all a busy day. It’s been very enjoyable though.
Please do keep following the vlog over on You Tube. There will be a new video each Friday. This week will be blackberry and apple jam. I am hoping that the following week will be the three crochet shawls. It will depend on progress and I also need to make some chutney! So lots to keep me busy.
