Today we have been out and about picking blackberries. A future vlog will demonstrate the making of blackberry and apple jam. That will be next Friday. We enjoyed foraging for the fruit to go in the jam.
The dogs enjoyed blackberry picking. They’re not particularly helpful, particularly given that both of the labradors were eating them! However they certainly enjoy getting out and about.
Today has also been Knit and Natter. There were four of us today. Two French and two English which is great because it really was a bilingual afternoon.

This blackberries here have been dripping off the hedgerow- can’t bear them so I leave for the birds. (down to all those childhood seasonal desserts – hated every one of them – rhubarb 🤢) I looked forward to the tinned fruit in winter 🤭
Picking is great fun though! 🤗

Actually I did it quite quickly! As for tinned fruit!! Fresh is so much better. However we all have likes and dislikes. You might like the jam next week!
