I am somewhat relieved that it is the weekend. Last week we thought that if we could get to the weekend all would be well. How wrong we were. Last weekend there were various problems and the week hasn’t been particularly straight forward. At the moment the this weekend is looking quiet so I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
Having said that on my way back from Pilates a friend and I spotted smoke that we don’t think was there yesterday. We are aware that some of the fires are still smouldering. I really do hope that there are no new seats of fire. We will have to wait and see at this point. There was a helicopter flying around and there are fire engines out and about.
Yesterday I finished the main section of the crochet project which is quite exciting. It seemed too small to begin with. However after blocking, the process of damping, stretching and drying, I was relieved to find that the piece met the expected size. I have started the sleeves. It will take a while yet but I am pleased with the progress that I am making.

I mentioned earlier that I had been to Pilates this evening. Both crochet and Pilates are central to my mindfulness and flourishing. So whilst I am now exhausted, I am also feeling so calm which I find to be wonderful. I do hope that you are feeling calm at the end of this week and that you have some relaxing plans for the weekend.
Until Monday…
That is AMAZING Zenna 👌🏽
I really hope you get to put your feet up this weekend – and no stress from fire threats!
For a reason I don’t understand – I’ve had a hectic (for me) couple of weeks and socialising this weekend (which is also unusual for me)
James and family off to Thailand this week – Jill and family will be over the caravan (but moving to Ivybridge soon) – so it looks like things will start to wind down and I will be back full time gardening soon!
Feet up Zenna – enjoy the weekend 🤗
