Sunshine and showers

Well that is today’s weather forecast cast. Though to be fair we have seen almost nothing in the way of showers and a reasonable amount of sunshine. I am feeling somewhat like the weather forecast.

The weekend was really quite hard work. Breakfasts both days and the huge vide grenier on Sunday. The event was a complete waste of time for me and to add insult to injury we got charged twice for our stand. So as a weather analogy, more of a down pour than a shower.

Today has been about having some down time and doing the tax return. The monthly tax return is a bit of a pain, but it’s not difficult and I would rather do it regularly and know that the taxes had been taken rather than me spend the money accidentally. So that was the dull bit between the different weather states.

This afternoon we went and collected a shower door. Shortly we will be doing a bathroom in our house. I’m not sure how I can best describe what we currently use. Hopefully the new incarnation will be significantly better. Chris decided to store it in the Sheshed, somehow he managed to jam the frame into the ceiling. For some time we weren’t sure how it would come out. Thankfully it has done and there isn’t too much damage!

Just as I came in I got a text from a participant from the crochet weekend. She sent me a photo of her completed hat. This is quite a sunshine moment. I’m absolutely delighted to see it. I think she’s pleased too!
