It’s the weekend!

But no down time this weekend. I am running the first crochet weekend in the Sheshed. I am excited but a little nervous too. There are three people coming. As far as I understand, they don’t know each other. I think that that is quite good because they’ll get to know new people as well as developing new skills.

Much of today has been about getting organised. I have made a cake for Sunday’s lunch. I have also made flapjacks to go with coffee. I’m not entirely convinced by them. I’ll have another go at cutting them up later. They don’t seem to want to hold together.

I have two people in the gîte tomorrow night, so I have been up and changed beds ready for them. I haven’t really stopped all day. I did the dog walk, went and picked up shopping and went to teach knitting. As it happens that was very relaxing because everyone decided that they didn’t really need any teaching and were getting on with projects that they had brought. Finally I went to Pilates. I am now sat outside enjoying a glass of wine. I still need to cook some quinoa and check some patterns but I think I’m almost ready.

So that just leaves me to say I hope you have a great weekend, whatever you are doing. Until Monday…
