And yes I know I do know French people who say this! The phrase is probably the best way to describe today. I am absolutely exhausted, I’ve had a shower and am now sat in my pyjamas with a glass of wine in front of the fire.
We have almost finished setting up the gîte ready for our guests to arrive tomorrow. Tomorrow morning there are just a few last minute titivations and we will be happy. Given that we have been doing renovations the process of setting up has taken a great deal longer.
The top floor of the gîte looks completely different. There is new flooring throughout. We have repainted much of it. The box-work has been covered over. All in all it looks fresher and smarter. I think we can be proud of what we have achieved. I will put a number of photos on Facebook. Despite having engaged in physical work all day I went to Pilates. I absolutely love it, not that I can always do everything. However I do think that it helps with developing strength and flexibility. At the moment I think anyone who sees me might beg to differ. I am hoping that by tomorrow morning I will be feeling better.
