I have spent most of the day either crocheting or sewing the skirt. I’m not there yet. My ability to do anything at the moment is being hindered by Nancy who has suddenly decided that she needs to sit on my lap and that I need to fuss her.
It isn’t like her to come and sit on us. It’s something she does on rare occasions, so when she does I feel that I should give her the attention that she appears to be asking for. I have warned her that our eldest son is on his way. Bathing and trimming her takes two people. He and I seem to be able to do it together well. At the moment she looks like a rug and to be honest the hygiene isn’t great either!
I have been to Pilates this evening. Today I found some of it really difficult, although there were certain things that I thought I did better. Although I come home in agony, I do love it. Until I started doing Pilates, I don’t think I had ever found anything that enables me to produce endorphins. Pilates certainly seems to work.

She is so sweet ! No wonder you can’t resist when she asks for a fuss. I’ve been thinking about you today, trying to get your skirt finished, you still have the evening……
Pilates sounds brilliant and obviously really is for you.
At long last the showers seem to have stopped! We had hail and downpours all day. I finished yet another hat. I must find something else to make now. I have enough hats to keep all the heads in a village warm ! Hahah
I am going to try and crochet some baskets with hemp. I bought some yesterday and I might start tonight……

Do you have a pattern for the basket? If not let me know I think I’ll have one! I find I can’t do the same thing endlessly, I need We mostly had showers. Though driving back from Pilates I came through a hail storm. I shall keep working on the skirt and see how I get on.
