Buds, blue skies and spring?

Last night I finished beanie number three and I started another one. Whilst I would like to start a poncho, I am going to at least finish the beanie I’m currently working on. The current one and the one before are relatively slow to do compared with the 1hour beanie, so I think I may go back to doing some more of them.

Today has really looked like a spring day. A combination of the weather and talking to Chris and a friend about how I was feeling yesterday helped me to feel much better. I am think I am good at listening to others but not very good at talking about things that are affecting me. Engaging in mindfulness has helped me to reach out.

I had some really exciting news today too. Our boys will be coming over in April. Originally they were coming at Easter. However for various reasons that wasn’t possible, they then thought that they would come the following week. That was then cancelled, however this has now been confirmed. So I am very excited.

This afternoon I walked the dogs. The sunshine was absolutely glorious. It was lovely to see that there are beginning to be real signs of spring. I think that catkins are often considered to be such a sign, there is a tree nearby that is laden with them. The dogs also seemed to enjoy themselves. Nancy seemed particularly happy rolling in the grass.
