I started this morning with a walk with a friend and her two dogs. Whilst I was walking I was quite warm and stayed that way until lunchtime. Since then I seem to have become progressively colder. I am now trying to find ways to get warm and stay warm. Shortly I will start cooking and that will undoubtedly help. It seems that the temperature hasn’t got above 5°C all day which is probably part of the problem!
Over the weekend I continued to work on the jumper. I’d love to say that it’s finished but unfortunately not. There are about 2cm to go on the neck, then it’s the finishing so I’m really close.
The front of our house has been an awful mess and we had a situation in which each time we came in and out more mud was dragged through. At the end of last week Chris made a start on clearing it up. Over the weekend he finished which included widening the path and creating a better path. Finally he re-did some of the pots, some already had daffodils that had regrown again from last year.

We also found time over the weekend to find a new path and walk the dogs along it. We came out somewhere we didn’t really recognise, thankfully after a couple of wrong turns, we found our way back to where we started. It’s great to keep finding new places.

Until tomorrow…
Looks lovely! Daffs are out here now and tulips just budding. Sky is blue (so it’s very cold). Heaven help us next year though. Bought oil for heating 15 days ago £320 – yesterday price £1002 for same amount!
Still: enjoy the day – be mindful – I’m off out to start to power wash my very green slimey, sit out space!

The prices are terrifying. I wonder where this will end. I cannot believe people will be left to freeze to death. But who knows. We have to watch and pray 🙏🙏
