Homeward bound

Not quite sitting at the railway station! However I have reached the ferry port in Portsmouth. I stopped off in Marlborough to visit a specific shop. I was given a Seasalt voucher for Christmas, well actually I got it last Sunday, so today was my only opportunity to visit one of their shops.

I went in with a very specific idea of what I wanted. I came out with something completely different. However I am very pleased with my purchase.

Last night my elder son gave me an idea for something that I could do as a vlog. It will take some time to get everything together, but watch this space because I think it’s a great idea. He and I also both think that it is something that I could earn money from which would be great. So once I’m home I will be going full-steam ahead on it .

I had a snack lunch in Marlborough. I found a bookshop with café. I have ordered some soup. Originally I had planned to sit inside. Unfortunately whilst I was at the counter ordering someone came in and took the table. I ended up sitting outside and enjoyed seeing the swans swimming past.

My car is fully ladened I don’t think I could have got much more in. I would have liked to have packed better but unfortunately it was always, cold, dark or raining, or all three each time I was organising it. I really hope that the customs officers don’t want to look at too much, otherwise I could miss the ferry!

I must just say that the animal charity Les Puces have their grand reopening on Sunday at their new shop. The details can be found on their Facebook page. You know where I’ll be on Sunday!

I hope that you all have a great weekend. Until Monday…

  1. It looks really sunny. It’s been sunny here and will be for the next couple of days apparently. Plenty of time to unpack your car without getting wet !
I hope you have a smooth trip over and a pleasant drive home on this side. Xx
