This morning was mindfulness which as many of you will know is one of the most important things in my life. On the way there I drove around a corner to see an incredible view of mist hanging in the valley below me. Whilst I was concerned about the time I decided to stop and take some photos. Being mindful is about being in the moment and noticing things around you, so it felt the appropriate thing to do.

We had already been out for a walk with the dogs this morning. When we left the house at 8.15 it was still dark and we were reliant on our head torches. As we got some light I took some photos through the trees.

This afternoon I visited two cats who are about to become my younger son’s. They are both young though the all black is the younger of the two. All he has to do is think of some names!

Also this afternoon I had an email from the vet to say that Archie is doing well. He is eating and drinking. He seems to be gaining some control of both his bladder and his bowels. So this is really good news. We look forward to seeing him on Thursday.
Having revisited my list for this week, much of it seems to be about sorting things for my husband! There are some jobs associated with the gîte and yarn that are my areas that I need to be working on. I hope to start on them tomorrow. In the meantime there is definitely evidence of some progress.
Until tomorrow…
