All about the yarn!

Yet another week has whizzed past. This morning we went off to collect something I found on market place. Unfortunately it wasn’t what my husband thought it was so it turned out to be a bit of a wasted journey. We used the excuse to go and have a coffee. One of reasons to live in France is to enjoy the lifestyle and that certainly includes a leisurely coffee.

I have been asked to submit an article to a crochet magazine on using artisan yarns. Fortuitously someone at Crafter-noon knew that there is a spinners and weavers event locally tomorrow. So I will make an effort to get there and talk to them about artisan yarns. Someone also had a size 39 foot which meant that they could try on my first pair of slippers. I am pleased to say that they fitted. Earlier in the week I was talking to a French person who used the term chauson rather than pantoufle which is my preferred term. Apparently pantoufle can also be a verb which is about relaxing and chilling out. This makes me like pantoufle all the more! So I continue with the shark pantoufles.

It is Friday evening so I’m off to Pilates in a minute. Tomorrow evening, 17.30, is the turning on of the lights on the crochet tree in La Feuillée. So if you are in the area, do stop by.

Last square being added!

I hope that you all have a good weekend. Until Monday…
