The right size!

I have spent much of today running behind. I set an alarm but thought I’d treat myself to a chapter or two. I haven’t found a book in a long time that has had me so gripped. It’s a psychological thriller and it’s working!

With everything running so late it was a very quick rush around the market this morning. I usually use two stalls for fruit and vegetables each week. Last week as I arrived at one of them and the man said two chillis. I think I looked fairly blank to begin with. Then I realised that I do usually buy them every week. Given the French don’t appear to like spicy food so I probably stand out. Last week I didn’t actually want any but today I bought my two chillis.

This afternoon I have been to Quimper. A friend wanted some shoes and another had suggested that there was a better supermarket for gluten free food. I really would like a gf pizza. I have had one here before but currently can’t find them. I did manage to find gf pizza base, so I have come home and made my own.

I was able to do some crochet whilst we travelled down and back. Last weekend I made a Christmas tree hat. Once I was some way into it I realised that it was a children’s pattern, I adapted it and the outcome was fine. However I found another pattern and am doing the adult size this time. I have managed to finish the hat band. So not a bad car journey!
