That is actually very mean of me. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law are arriving this evening. My mother-in-law has visited before but this is the first time my sister-in-law has been. I think we’ll have a good time.
I also have guests in the gite this weekend. I thought that the season was over but it seems not. In fact I have another 3 or 4 bookings over the next two or three weeks. So having switched off from it I need to switch myself back on. A couple of weeks ago I stripped everything out for a thorough clean but I hadn’t gotten around to putting things back. I spent 5 hours cleaning and bed making which was exhausting. My cupboard is not looking good and I need to spend a day tidying it! On the upside everything in it is clean!
Several weeks ago we had a small bathroom with a sabot bath, I think they’re a French thing, installed downstairs. The hot water sprang a leak and was turned off. This week it was fixed and this evening I decided to try it out. You can’t lie flat in it but it was certainly a relaxing experience.
Apologies but I have nothing creative to share today. I don’t know how much I will be able to get done this weekend however I need to prioritise the gilet.

Have a wonderful time with family Zenna. It’s good to know that bookings are still coming in. I reckon in current times the old holiday norms will stop and people will takes lots of mini breaks across the year which will be good for business.
Weather here has been amazing and I still have lots of interesting stuff growing all over. If it wasn’t for the amazing reds and dropping leaves (and the zillions of spiders and web outlines everywhere) it would be difficult to believe autumn is here
