This is of course not entirely true. I don’t hate computers, I would not be able to do what I am doing now without them. There are so many benefits to them. And of course much of my gite business is managed via the computer.
However; and here is the rub. I find that if I actually need to use my laptop rather than simply doing things on my phone I can get caught in a cycle that I don’t want to engage with. Whilst I was working full-time I found that whenever I said that I would finish work there was always one more job that I could do and so much better to do it today than tomorrow. There was an email that needed sending, there was information that needed checking and a myriad of other activities. Click bait works, you click on it and then there you are wasting your time. Of course there is all the research that demonstrates how the so called positive rewards act on the brain and have us doing more. Grrr. And so today I managed to waste two hours indoors when there was glorious sunshine outside.
I did manage a little time outside. Puss, so named by my husband, is starting his modelling career! He can be seen sat in a bed I finished last week. I have managed a few rows of the gilet too. I need to get on with it, I have another order behind it.
I had to pop to Huelgoat this afternoon to go to the bank. Whilst I was there I took some photos of the lake because it was looking so gorgeous. The sun and the shadows on the water were just lovely.
Are you enjoying any late autumn sunshine? Are you getting to do anything outside that you wouldn’t expect to be able to at this time of year? Until tomorrow…

It looks lovely. I bet any cat would love to snuggle up in that..
It looked beautiful in Huelgoat and it has been so sunny and mild. Long may it last ! I’m hoping to cut the grass this weekend which is still growing. Although that is not unusual for here it does seem to be stilll needing a regular cut. I’m hoping the weather doesn’t change for a few days. Xx
