This week has not gone as had been expected. So here we are at Thursday with far less achieved than I had hoped. However there are some things that I can tick off my list.
I have sketched out a reasonably detailed plan for the first retreat. I have thought about some of the things that they will create and take away. I have looked at Eventbrite which is a booking site that I could use to advertise and sell my tickets. I have started to consider whether or not I could make a vlog in order to demonstrate techniques that participants will be using. I will need to trial that. I have also been quietly working on a project for me.
I am creating a poncho in purple yarn. Purple is probably my favourite colour. And whilst this yarn is mostly acrylic it is a tweed effect which I really like. I am also using a stitch that is new to me. It’s called a half herring bone and I think it’s rather attractive. As you may be aware, I have rather a lot of half finished projects on the go at the moment. I intend to finish this one and then focus on finishing all 3 of the pet beds that I have started.
Given our strange week we decided to go to Huelgoat market this morning. I bought fish, fruit and vegetables. Afterwards we sat outside one of the bars and enjoyed two rounds of coffee – the extravagance! It was relaxing and necessary.
Until tomorrow…
