This will be a short post tonight. We are only just on our way home after a CT test, MOT, on my husband’s car and it’s 7.30pm! The French take a long lunch but they work on later.
Thursday is market day in Huelgoat so the morning involved buying fruit and vegetables. I do like the markets here. The produce is usually very local and so there are few food kilometres involved! And the ambiance is always great.
This afternoon I spent a short time in the garden doing some crochet. Mabel insisted on coming to help. The sky was so blue it was gorgeous.
After that I had to go with my husband to buy materials for a job that he is currently doing. He often finds that the products and processes here are quite different to the UK. My input is a translation service. He understands far more than he admits however he needs to gain confidence to speak. After that it was the CT. The car failed, we knew it would but we have two months to sort it out and it isn’t difficult.
So until tomorrow, have a good evening…

Looks like summer has finally arrived both there and here!
I’ve been busy gardening and joined a couple of U3a groups which are keeping me busy – still baking bread, and even having a go at making basic cheeses!
My three eldest g-daughters now at senior school!!! Jess, Mya and Emily have grown up SO quickly
Have a lovely weekend 🤗🤗🤗

I can’t believe they’re all that age. I remember when Jess was born and it seems unreal that she and Mya and Emily are all at secondary school. Bread and cheese sounds great! xxx
