Today has been challenging. I had a very sleepless night. My husband should return tomorrow. With all the challenges to leave and enter countries at the moment I am concerned about the process. I spoke to him this morning so I know what time he should be through check-in. He will text me once he’s checked in. I shall then start to relax!

I was up early anyway this morning with an early breakfast. At the moment I seem to be doing breakfasts most days. I find that with baking the breads I often don’t have time to eat myself. Given that I had two rooms to turn over it was gone midday before I actually got to eat. I know not very healthy! However I was in need of a healthy bowl of something. So today I made myself a super muesli. Yoghurt, oats, seeds, dried fruit, and fresh fruit. Wonderful!

I have spent this afternoon relaxing. I am working on the cat bed I mentioned a few days ago. There isn’t really anything interesting to show yet. So I’m looking forward to seeing my husband tomorrow. Until then…

  1. I hope everything goes well tomorrow for you both, I am sure it will.
Busy and early mornings combined definitely require a siesta. The sunny pasts of Europe have got that right for certain. Since the children have gone long past napping in the day, I do miss them sometimes.
Lovely that you have had the afternoon to crochet. I’m looking forward to seeing it when it’s finished. I bet they will love it. Xx
Your luxury muesli looks delicious and is definitely healthy and packed with energy. It’s a double yum from me today.
Have a good evening and I hope you sleep better tonight. You are almost there and reunited again. Xxx
