En retard

I know I say it regularly but I really don’t know where the time goes. This morning there came a point where I looked to see how long it had been since I got up, 5 hours. In that time I had managed to answer some emails, take a booking and organise the diary. This really shouldn’t have taken that long. I wasn’t on social media in fact I’m not sure what I was doing!

This afternoon my youngest son went and had his 2nd covid jab, quite a birthday present! I went to Ti recoup in search of furniture for the gite. Actually I was pleased with my haul. I managed to get everything on my list. I needed extra dining tables and furniture to create a lounge area on the first floor. 45e later I had achieved it.

So I no longer have any teenage children which seems very odd. My younger son has now turned 20. I’m not sure he’s entirely happy and it is certainly strange to think that my children are in their 20s. We went out this evening for a meal at a favourite local restaurant. We sat outside and even at nearly 11pm it was still hot. In fact there were people swimming in the lake, see the dots on the left of the first photo.

Tomorrow I will endeavour to not be so late. Until then…

  1. A very Happy Birthday youngest son !!! It’s been the best part of the day this evening and we also were outside in the warm air.
Time goes so fast when you have lots to achieve and it sounds as if you have been very busy. Lovely that you had a nice evening together though and a bit of time to relax. Xxx
