As I thought about this a song started half playing in my head however of course I couldn’t actually remember it or capture it so I spent some time trying to work out what it was. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to work out what it was. So I’ve listened to endless adverts inorder to get to the songs but hopefully some of you may feel inspired by this. I still have absolutely no idea what the song was that I was half hearing in my head.
The weekend has been hot and busy. I’ve had people in the gite d’etape and breakfasts to do. The bookings are coming in now on almost a daily basis. So I think I should do reasonably through the rest of July and much of August.
Saturday was exciting. My titre de sejour, residency permit arrived. So as in the words of Sting, ‘I’m a legal alien’. It makes living here almost more real now that I have this in my hand, or my handbag anyway.
I also finally managed to use some of my socken stop. I have done a number of pairs and hope to complete a few more tomorrow before I go to the first market of the week tomorrow evening. I’m doing two markets this week so please wish me luck. I am hoping that I will sell plenty. My new labels will be on the items and I feel that this will make everything look more professional. I had ordered a card machine that has also arrived, so I will be taking that with me too. I think it’s going to be a busy and exciting week to look forward to.
