Barbecues, bicycles and baking

Some days I think that I am going to have a quiet day just doing things here at home. We are having a barbecue tomorrow lunchtime so I was planning to cook some items and then get on to working on some crochet.

As I have said previously I also run a second business, Gite d’etape des Korrigans. We have just had ten days with people in every night. This week it has become quiet again and having finished all of the washing two days ago I hadn’t thought about it. Today someone put a message on Facebook stating that they are looking for accommodation for professional cycling teams in the summer. Having put up a response I received a phone call to discuss the possibilities. Apparently finding somewhere, where it is possible to sleep 10 people in separate beds is challenging. After the phone call I had to send further information and several photographs of the accommodation.

Running two businesses means that I am always on duty. However this is so different from being on duty within a professional role. Having a chat with someone is passionate about their pastime is enjoyable and fascinating. Those that are coming for lunch tomorrow won’t starve I did manage to cook as well.
